만큼 is an auxiliary verb attached to the back of a noun
There are 3 examples of 만큼

1. Indicates a considerable quantity or degree in the preceding content.

노력한 만큼 대가를 얻다. - Get reward as much as his efforts. (quantity)

주는 만큼 받아 오다. - get as much as you give. (quantity)

방 안은 숨소리가 들릴 만큼 조용했다. - The room was quiet enough to hear the sound of breathing. (degree)

2. Indicates the cause or basis of the content that follows after.

비가 많이 온 만큼 강이 불어났다. - The river swelled as much as it rained a lot. (cause)

추운 만큼 옷을 두껍게 입었다. - I wore thick clothes as it was cold. (basis)

3. Indicates a similar degree or limit to the previous sentence.

집을 궁전만큼 크게 짓다. - build a house as large as a palace (similar degree)

피자는 치킨만큼 맛있지 못하다. - Pizza is not as delicious as chicken. (limit)

나도 당신만큼은 할 수 있다. - I can do as much as you can. (similar degree)
